Modern society is organized in such manner that we are forced to suffer stress on a daily basis. This modern pestilence is in tight connection to productivity of work, and to avoid your results on work to decline, here are ten tips and guidelines on how to do that. Feel free to read on and to use them.

Interpersonal relationships need to be perfect, and built on trust and mutual respect.  Don’t judge a co-worker if he or she had made a mistake, try to give a helping hand, and to point him the right direction. Also, any criticism coming to our way shouldn’t be taken personally, so, don’t fall into this trap.

If you don’t know how to follow, how will you lead? If you wish to be promoted, first learn how to be good worker. Respect your manager, but don’t be afraid to give your opinion on certain subject. I have seen many great colleagues being fired just because they couldn’t stand that somebody is above them.

A lot of work can be done faster and in a quality manner if done by well-organized group. If you are part of such, don’t drag it down, but give in your contribution to succeed. The sense of fulfilment is something great to live upon.

The place where you work is of vital importance. Make sure that your chair is comfortable and that it fits your needs, so your health won’t suffer if you have prolonged periods of sitting. If you feel discomfort, you can’t be inspired, right?

Pictures of your dear person can boost your mood instantly. It will also give you feel as if you are at home, and you will feel much more relaxed.

Window looking at the park is one of my favourite features of my office. It is enough for me to take a glance from my monitor, and to see all of those vivid colours, and to be invigorated by this wonderful sight. If you don’t have the opportunity for doing so, put a plant on your desk, it will help you also.

Lighting in your office should fit your needs, but avoid having artificial one. Huge windows will lift the spirit of everyone in the office, so they will communicate more and the quality of such conversations will also be improved.

Out of the box

Tight and stuffed offices are so overpassed. Paint our office in green and bright orange colours, so your workers won’t feel depressed. Also, it is said that open space creates an open mind, and that kind of mind works in a relaxed manner, and brings better results.

Why to stick to common and ever-seen office furniture? If you have multiple offices, make them thematic. One can be summer, with sufficient details connected with this age, and other can reflect winter, with white furniture and sharp schedule. You can even put a hammock in!

Don’t forget that everybody needs a stress relief. Be sure that you have “pastime room”, where all of the people can hang out, play pool or whatever they desire. Also, make a rule that everybody in that room are equal, so when guards against superiors drop, some remarkable ideas can emerge.

So, these are my tips, and if you have some, you can apply those as well. The only thing that matters is that overall sense in the office is not sorrow and pressure, but support and joy.
