Botmetric, the highest rated unified cloud management platform on AWS marketplace, announced the launch of Botmetric 2.0. The new release, which is a predecessor to indigenous Botmetric, now offers intelligent, user-centric applications on a single platform to help cloud users manage their cloud smartly.

Increasingly, cloud users are seeking to manage cloud in a holistic way. They do not want to lose out on cost optimization opportunities while they are working on resource optimization, DR, or security.

Moreover, different personas across an organization have different requirements. A CIO looks for cost optimization opportunities, a CISO looks for reinforcing security measures, while a developer looks for DevOps & CloudOps automation, without missing out on other parameters of cloud optimization. To this end, Botmetric 2.0 was born – to make cloud management and optimization more simpler, better, and faster for all.

Unveiling the launch of the new release, Vijay Rayapati, CEO at Botmetric, said in a statement, “I’m super excited to share that we have achieved yet another milestone. Ever since we entered the cloud management arena, we realized that companies and engineers spend hours managing cloud infrastructure, despite using some of the leading tools, and still sense the tip of the iceberg in their cloud environment.”

“From the first Botmetric release till date, we have been turning each cloud challenge into saving and optimization opportunity. We want to make cloud easy for organizations so that they focus more on business instead of analysis, operations, and automation,” added Vijay.

The Botmetric cloud management platform, which already helped with AWS cloud optimization for cost, security, and DevOps, is now appified to suit the different needs of the workforce across an organization. The three applications available in Botmetric 2.0 are:

Cost Management & Governance: Tailored for CIO & Operations team
Security & Compliance: Tailored for CISO & IT Security team
Ops & Automation: Tailored for CTO & Developer team

Amarkant Singh, Head of the Product at Botmetric platform, said in a statement, “We have been working with a large number of customers, over the past 24 months, to understand their cloud operational challenges. Based on these feedback, we unbundled Botmetric, took a modular approach, and built Botmetric 2.0 with user-centric applications, essentially to simplify their lives.”

“As a company, users can choose either one or two, or all the three apps according to their needs,” added Amar. “Plus, there are 50+ new features introduced to Botmetric 2.0. Many of the old features are rebuilt with intelligence to reduce information overload. Some of the highlights of Botmetric 2.0 include Data Transfer Analytics, DevOps intelligence, Compliance Audit Policies, AWS EC2 cost analytics, Smart Reserved Instance Management, etc.”

“Botmetric 2.0 went live on Thanksgiving day as a mark to thank all Botmetric customers who rendered continuous support and feedback, which ultimately led to the revamp of the product,” said Vijay. “With AWS re:Invent 2016 kicking off, we look forward to showcasing the new platform to the users during the event.”
